About the role 
Owing to internal changes there now lies an opportunity for an immediately available Finance Manager to oversee the Finance Support team for 12 months. Reporting the Finance Director this is a key role within the organisation, supporting the Commercial leasing team providing high quality leasing and portfolio data and supporting Finance meeting deliverables for continuous improvement.
  
The responsibilities
The main duties include:

  • Manage, mentor, train, recruit and supervise Accounts Payable, Receivable, Fixed assets staff.
  • Review Quarterly reports prepared for Group reporting and review cash movement journals on a quarterly basis
  • Coordinate, review and continuously seek improvements in the Accounts payable and Receivable process
  • Fortnightly reporting of portfolio arrears
  • Management of straight lining - from actuals & forecast perspective
  • Management of tenant incentive trackers (including rent free/abatement reconciliations)
  • Manage and maintain Fixed Asset Register
  • Ensure fixed asset process is followed
  • Ensure MRI tenancy schedules are maintained accurately and where applicable are updated in a timely manner to ensure various sources can rely upon current tenant status.
  • Review Tenancy schedules
  • Manage internal, External (Outgoings, Trust audits, Lease audits) and Sox audits
  • Ensure new vendors are onboarded properly and on-time. Coordinate issues between suppliers and IT.
  • Review Supplier database in MRI and Cougar. Review Reconciliation.
  • Manage all trust account requirements and ensure we are compliant.
  • Stakeholder management
  • Ensure all payment runs are done in a timely manner
  • Review internal Accounts Payable Process and controls, making necessary changes for compliance. 
The successful applicant will be:
  • CPA/ CA qualified required with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in Commercial/Retail Property.
  • MRI, Cougar, Coupa, Sugar, Concur and TM1 experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Staff Management experience essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well organised and able to prioritise tasks for self and on-site management team.
  • High level attention to detail and ability to analyse operational results.
  • Experience managing Fixed assets, Accounts payable and Receivable
