The Role
Working closely with the senior and executive group finance team this role will see you lead a project to transform, design, automate their group consolidation activities. You will lead the roll out and implementation of a new consolidation tool.
Duties will include:
- Design and develop a new consolidation tool for the group;
- Lead the roll out covering key business areas to meet both external and internal reporting requirements;
- Work with key stakeholders including Project Managers, Change Managers, Department Heads and Senior Finance to gather information and ascertain business needs;
- Design intercompany processes to enable effective reconciliation;
- Streamline the month-end consolidation structure to ensure seamless reporting; and
- Collaborate with the team to extract data and integrate it into the consolidation process.
The Person
You will be a CPA/CA qualified finance professional. Experience in a Big 4 firm, and / or a large corporate, ASX or global business will be essential. Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of Australian reporting standards and reporting requirements is a must. Your background will include:

- Consolidations experience
- Controllership experience
- Experience in designing accounting processes
- Experience in managing a large and complex finance systems and process implementation program
- Experience in the development of both internal and external reporting frameworks
