We are partnering with a large and highly established FMCG organisation with a significant footprint across Australia and New Zealand. The business operates a complex national supply chain network and continues to evolve its finance capability to better support operational performance, cost control and strategic decision making.
Finance sits at the centre of the business, partnering closely with operations, procurement and commercial teams to ensure strong financial discipline, visibility of performance and delivery of optimisation initiatives.
Role:
Reporting to the Finance Director – Operations, this role partners closely with procurement and supply chain leaders across ANZ.
You will play a key role in delivering financial insight across purchasing, commodities, inventory and operational performance. This is a highly commercial role where finance works directly alongside operations to influence cost outcomes, identify optimisation opportunities and support strategic supply chain decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Month-end reporting across ANZ procurement, co-manufacturing and grain commodities
- PPV analysis, inventory performance tracking and operational cost visibility
- Forecasting and budgeting for inventory, purchasing costs and related supply chain drivers
- Costing roll-ups and financial support across new product development initiatives
- Oversight of standard costing, inventory data integrity and SLOB reporting
- Partnering with procurement on optimisation initiatives and cost savings projects
We are looking to meet commercially minded finance professionals who bring strong experience partnering with procurement and supply chain functions within a large FMCG or consumer goods environment.
You will be someone who enjoys operating close to the business, influencing stakeholders and translating operational activity into clear financial insight.
Experience across inventory, product costing, commodities or procurement finance will be highly valuable in this position.
