A prominent organization in the agricultural sector, based in Laverton, Victoria, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team. Their success is built on a foundation of innovation, sustainability, and a dedication to excellence.
The Role
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Preparation of monthly financial reports for companies within the group.
- Preparation of branch's P & L’s.
- Month end processes
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for companies within the group on monthly basis. Maintain Financial Registers
- Fixed Assets: Maintenance and reconciliation of fixed assets register
- including reallocation of cost to other businesses within the group (support Company Accountant)
- Lease Assets: Maintenance and reconciliation of lease assets register
- including payment of rentals. (support Company Accountant)
- HP Register: Maintenance of HP register. (support Finance Manager – Par time)
- Account Reconciliation
- Review of some GL accounts such as Computer, Consulting, Repair and Maintenance, Staff amenities for identifying expense of capital nature on monthly basis.
You are CA/CPA qualified and have experience working in fast paced, product based environment. The idea of being in a growing business is exciting to you and you are looking for a role where you can grow and develop your skillset.
