The Company 

Are you a seasoned Financial Accountant with a passion for the Manufacturing Industry? Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and compliance of the organisation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Statutory Accounts/EOFY Audit - Prepare and oversee statutory accounts and end-of-year audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Global Consolidation - Consolidate trial balances from global subsidiaries into MYOB.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing key insights for financial planning.
  • Insurance Renewal - Support the preparation process for insurance renewals.
  • Tax Returns - Prepare direct and indirect tax returns for the APAC region.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations - Conduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheets across the APAC region.
  • Management Reporting & Analysis - Prepare profit and loss accruals, manage reporting and analysis, and perform variance and exception reporting.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting - Develop and manage cash flow forecasts for the APAC region.
  • Chart of Accounts Management - Oversee the management of the chart of accounts.
  • Payroll Support - Provide backup support to HR in reviewing fortnightly payroll for accuracy.
  • Transactional Services Oversight - Supervise the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team of three.
Qualifications:
  • CPA or CA qualified.
  • Big four trained, preferable. 
  • Extensive experience in a senior accounting role
  • Proficient in MYOB and other financial software.
  • Strong knowledge of APAC tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
