About the role: 
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant on an immediate notice has arisen within a software consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of month end tasks, and maintaining accurate and compliant financial records. This is a great opportunity for a Financial Accountant who can work autonomously and is looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:   
  • Manage month-end, half-year, and full-year reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the APAC vendor program, this includes; report preparation, coding for the AR team, and journal entry posting.
  • Support the AU & NZ P&L reviews, including preparation of account reconciliations, and template updates.
  • Assist with SOX testing documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Manage APAC Global Program, including clearing, posting review, and preparation of global P&L reports.
  • Assist with AU month-end close tasks such as reconciliations, and other financial processes.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and advising on transactions.
  • Oversee APAC intercompany reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset reconciliations, including depreciation posting and cross-checking.
Requirements:    
  • SAP Experience is essential for this role.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Experience as a Financial Accountant / or a Senior Financial Accountant . 
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Financial Accountant role. 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
