The Role:
The successful candidate will be involved in weekly & monthly reporting for the portfolio, tracking and reporting of capital and project expenditure, asset stocktakes and development of analytical reports used to demonstrate the integrity of accounting and governance within the Business Unit.
- Liaising with Site Administrators and Commercial Analysts to prepare and processes general ledger journals
- Review revenue transactions and resolve financial queries
- Preparation of weekly and monthly profit and loss including variance reporting
- Preparation and management of monthly balance sheets
- Collection and analysis of data to prepare weekly forecasts
- Assisting in the preparation of data for financial KPI reports, invoicing and freight analysis
- Management of fixed asset register, including acquisitions
- Liaising with team for year end audit, stocktakes, revenue and debtor reporting
- Ad-hoc reporting as required
The successful applicant will have;
- Completed a tertiary qualification in an accounting or business focused degree
- Commenced and working towards or completed their CA/CPA, alternatively a first mover from one of the Big 4 or mid tier chartered firm
- Proficient skills in MS Excel and a large ERP system experience
- Excellent communication skills with an attitude for learning
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
