About the role
An exciting immediate start role with a industry-leading Medical Devices organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Senior Financial Accountants' position will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial & corporate accounting activities on a national scale. Initially this will be a 6 month fixed-term contract assignment, however there is the genuine view for this role to be then extended and/or made permanent.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

- Timely and accurate completion of month end close process and monthly deadlines around flash (Financial) reports and finance operation reports
- Ensuring that all allocated General Ledger reconciliations are accurate and are completed in a timely manner
- Manage the balance sheet of the organisation, ensuring that all reconciliations are accurate and are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting, tax, accounting standards and all other related legislation
- Assist with the preparation of commentary of the monthly balance sheet and cash flow information.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Dynamics D365 general ledger and make recommendation
- Maintain excellent knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics D365, TM1, and Excel and provide training to the team members as required
- Action all items allocated to this role in relation to ongoing projects within the organisation or within Finance
- Ad-hoc projects as and when required
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have had extensive hands-on Microsoft Dynamics365 experience, a strong attention to detail, have worked in a complex & dynamic organisation previously and be able to commence a new role relatively immediately.
