Reporting directly to the Financial Controller your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage the month end process to ensure compliance with deadlines
- Preparation of financial statements including consolidations for a large portfolio of entities
- Oversee receipts, payments and cash flow functions for various entities
- Prepare and maintain inter-entity and external loan account reconciliations
- Preparation of all payments such as staff reimbursements, and petty cash
- Ensure compliance of statutory accounts with all relevant accounting standards and legislative requirements
- Prepare the monthly and quarterly BAS and IAS returns
- Development and implement best practice standardised financial policies and procedures ensuring they align with group policy and satisfy internal and external audit requirements
- Oversee preparation of documentation and supporting schedules / workpapers pertaining to enquiries raised on new property development projects
- Maintain open communication and ensure active collaboration across stakeholder groups
- CA/CPA qualified
- Detailed understanding of of accounting and taxation, with prior experience in a chartered accounting firm or family office environment
- Your communication skills are excellent, consistently displaying a willingness to provide ongoing support to all key stakeholders.
- You will have demonstrated strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
