Role Overview
You will play a key role in supporting how capital is allocated and investments are prioritised, partnering closely with senior finance leaders and executive stakeholders, including the Group CFO. The role offers exposure to strategic decision making and enterprise-wide investment initiatives during a period of growth and change.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting group capital planning, capex forecasting, and investment evaluation across the business
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to assess investment returns, ROI, and capital performance
  • Preparing materials and analysis for Group Investment Committee and senior leadership reviews
  • Analysing large and complex data sets to identify performance trends and investment outcomes
  • Tracking performance of approved capital projects and comparing actual vs business case assumptions
  • Supporting external reporting requirements linked to capital and investment performance
  • Driving improvements in capital allocation frameworks, tools, and reporting processes
  • Partnering with divisional finance teams and senior stakeholders to enhance investment governance and decision quality
Ideal Candidate

You will bring a strong foundation in FP&A, commercial finance, corporate finance, or transaction advisory within a complex corporate environment. You are analytically strong, commercially minded, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders on investment decisions.
This role suits someone who enjoys financial modelling, business case evaluation, and influencing strategic outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving organisation.
To succeed, you will combine technical capability with strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Key Requirements
  • CA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Circa 6–8 years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, corporate finance, or transaction services
  • Experience supporting capital planning, business cases, or investment evaluation
  • Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling capability (NPV, IRR, scenario modelling)
  • Experience working with large data sets and translating insights for decision makers
  • Exposure to BI tools (eg. Power BI) highly regarded
  • Experience in a large corporate, multinational, or capital-intensive environment
  • Big 4 background (Audit, Advisory, or Transaction Services) highly desirable
