About the role
An exciting role with a global FMCG organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This Senior FP&A Analyst position will help provide insightful analysis into key performance trends that exist in order to drive the positive financial direction of the company. Initially this will be a long-term contractual assignment, however there is the view for extension and/or permanency.
The responsibilities
Reporting directly into the FP&A Manager, your main duties will include (but are not limited to);
- Manage fixed cost actual month-end close and forecast at cost centre level
- Monthly intercompany process of approving/initiate cross charge
- Business partnering with Head Office departments to provide financial insight and advice on cost control, seek efficiencies or improvement
- Cash flow and balance sheet forecast and actual closing, understanding key drivers to maximise cash for the business with strong forecast accuracy
- Working capital reporting and optimisation
- Running cash committee with various stakeholders to mitigate cash risk, and identify opportunity and action plan to improve cash position
- On time submission of all fixed cost and cash/balance sheet related reporting for both actual and forecast as per region/global requirements, liaison with region for any queries
- Assist the CFO and other relevant stakeholders with ad-hoc projects when required.
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, have worked in a 'product-based' environment previously, enjoy getting hands-on with the work and have hands-on experience using the SAP software.
