A high-profile opportunity exists for an experienced commercial finance leader to join a large, complex organisation in a strategic group finance role supporting executive leadership and corporate functions.

This role sits at the centre of the finance function and will lead group planning, forecasting and performance reporting, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across technology, strategy, corporate affairs, finance and people functions. The position also plays a key role in ensuring data-led decision making and alignment between financial and commercial reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A and commercial finance team
  • Lead the group financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to support executive decision-making
  • Partner with senior leaders across multiple corporate functions to drive performance and resource allocation
  • Develop financial models, business cases and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Lead the month-end group reporting process and deliver high-quality performance insights
  • Drive a zero-based budgeting approach and challenge the business to optimise costs and investment
  • Champion data-led decision making through robust financial analysis and insights
  • Oversee and continuously improve finance systems, reporting tools and analytical capabilities
About You
  • CA/CPA qualified with a strong background in commercial finance and FP&A
  • Extensive experience in financial planning, performance reporting and business partnering
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate financial insights into commercial decisions
  • Strong financial modelling and business case development capability
  • Experience working with large ERP systems and BI tools (e.g. SAP, BPC, OneStream or similar)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams
  • Experience in large, complex or listed organisations will be highly regarded
