Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to promote effective HR business partnering practices
- Provide timely, accurate advice on HR policies, procedures and relevant legislation
- Manage complex employee relations matters including performance management, complaints and rehabilitation
- Support workforce planning, employee engagement, and leadership capability building
- Lead WHS initiatives including the implementation of health and wellbeing programs and WHS compliance activities
- Drive continuous improvement in HR practices and internal processes
- Develop and implement tailored HR solutions that align with organisational goals
- Coach and support managers across a broad range of HR and people matters
- Lead and support a small, high-performing HR team
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A strong understanding of employment law and WHS legislation
- The ability to provide clear, professional HR advice both verbally and in writing
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organisation
- A track record of acting as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership teams
- Experience designing and delivering practical HR programs and solutions
- Expertise in resolving complex ER cases and supporting workforce wellbeing
- Demonstrated success in driving improvement across HR systems and ways of working
- Experience leading or mentoring HR professionals in a collaborative environment
