About the role
As Senior Legal Counsel you will work be a key member of the Legal team; operating under a business partnering model who provide legal support to channels or functions across the broad business. We are seeking candidates who have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Procurement
- Insurance
- Group Insurance
The role will also include providing legal advice and support to a range of ancillary and support services functions relevant to his or her business partners and areas of responsibility, but also more generally.
About You
Some of the attributes you may have that will help you get the most out of this role are the following:
- Minimum of 6 years’ post-qualification experience, in a commercial legal environment, such as a top tier / high quality mid-tier law firm or quality in-house legal department.
- Some experience in the financial services sector will be helpful, but not necessary and an opportunity to upskill in a new industry.
- Commercial contracts experience with a keen eye for detail and risk management.
