A global organisation with a strong Australian presence is seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive fleet operations and customer performance across International Markets.

About the Role

Reporting into an international leadership team, this senior role is responsible for developing and executing a scalable commercial fleet operations and customer strategy.

The position will have a global scope, with responsibility to embed proven solutions and processes. You will work cross-functionally with service, sales, marketing and operational teams, as well as external service networks, to ensure fleet customers experience seamless, reliable vehicle operations.
This role is based in an inner-city Melbourne office with a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial fleet operations with accountability for uptime performance and issue resolution
• Develop and implement a clear, data-driven fleet operations and uptime strategy
• Identify customer pain points and operational inefficiencies through detailed analysis
• Drive prioritisation, approval, and rollout of strategic initiatives across multiple markets
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders and external service networks to deliver solutions
• Define performance metrics and continuously optimise operational outcomes

About You

• Demonstrative experience in fleet operations, commercial vehicle services, automotive, logistics, or related sectors
• Strong understanding of commercial fleet environments and uptime-driven business models
• Proven experience leading complex operational or commercial initiatives
• Comfortable operating in matrixed, multi-market environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Able to influence senior leaders and drive outcomes through collaboration
