With team fit and culture a priority, this business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Payroll Consultant to ensure compliance with internal policies, processes and legislation, execute a number of projects across payment of bonuses, remediation and redundancy execution.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Provide senior oversight, issue resolution and guidance for a medium sized team that process both monthly and fortnightly.
- Act as a high-level escalation point for payroll issues, compliance matters, and system queries.
- Collaborate closely with the Reward team to lead day-by-day planning during the Annual Rem cycle.
- Review and interpret complex EA arrangements (6 EAs) and support a Total Fixed Rem cohort.
- Ensure accurate execution of ATO and Superannuation reporting, including managing contacts with funds and authorities.
- Provide leadership and direction through a busy period, including support for Remediation Projects and the Operating Model transition.
- Extensive experience in senior payroll or payroll consulting roles, preferably in large, complex organisations.
- Strong technical expertise across compliance, reporting, EA interpretation, and end-to-end payroll processing.
- Proven ability to operate in high-pressure, high-volume environments and guide teams through change.
- Skilled in Chris21 and Workday (ideally), with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot.
- Strong planning, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, particularly with HR/Reward functions.
