About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take a step into a supportive environment and be apart of a large payroll group. This is an end to end payroll officer position that will also be focusing on payroll projects throughout the year.
The responsibilities:
Reporting into the National Payroll Manager, the main responsibilities include:
- Fortnightly End-to-End Payroll processing and calculation
- Email and hand out pay slips and process payroll journal
- Prepare and lodge payroll tax, work cover and superannuation
- Be involved with payroll projects
- Administrative duties: filling, set up new employee folder, hand out starter pack, collect police check and reimburse police check expense
The successful applicant will have: - Have experience in a high volume environment
- Some experience using Chris 21/ichris is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and great customer service skills
- Experience with multiple ABN's & awards
- Excellent communications skills
- Be able to work in large, team environments
