Our client are a US listed tech business who operate globally with offices in all parts of the world.
The Opportunity
Our client are looking to hire a Senior Payroll Officer to the business for a period of 7 months to cover an existing MAT leave cover. This would be a standalone role, dealing with an outsourced provider and completing the payroll for 240 employees on a monthly basis end to end. Given the business are constantly expanding there is a view that a permanent role could be on offer towards the back end of the contract.
Job Responsibilities
- Processing monthly payroll for240 employees
- Interpretation of relevant industry award
- Maintain accurate employee data including onboarding/terminations
- Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislation & regulation
- Review calculations and process superannuation, leave entitlements and other payroll-related adjustments
- Responding to payroll queries
- Provide support to the Finance Manager with AD HOC reporting/project related tasks
- ADP systems experience ESSENTIAL
- Previous standalone payroll processing experience
- Willingness to identify and suggest process improvements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
