The Role:
As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining scalable software solutions across the full stack. You will work closely with product and engineering teams, playing a key role in the development lifecycle and cloud infrastructure management.
You will collaborate to deliver high-quality features using Laravel PHP on the backend, and Vue.js or React on the frontend. Managing AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines will also be part of your day-to-day, along with mentoring junior team members and contributing to engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel PHP
- Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure, including deployment automation and security
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver new features and improvements
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and knowledge sharing
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a high-performing remote team culture
- 5+ years of experience working with Laravel PHP
- Hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure and cloud deployments
- Comfortable working across backend and frontend technologies, including Vue.js or React
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
