We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager who will be accountable for delivery of large and complex projects such as Client Initiatives, Acquisitions, Lift outs, Transitions and Strategic Product initiatives.
  
It is essential that you have prior Funds Management and/or Asset Servicing experience in order to successfully deliver these complex initiatives.
  
Some of your responsibilities include:  
  • Planning and designing the project and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
  • Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the project
  • Managing the projects budget on behalf of the senior responsible owner, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realising benefits.
  • Facilitating the appointment of individuals to project teams
  • Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget.
  • Managing third party contributions to the project
  • Working with the business change manager or equivalent on the transition to the new business as usual position.
    
Skills and Experience:  
  • Extensive experience in Project Management with experience delivery large Programs of work and managing C level stakeholders relationships.
  • Experience in delivering IT, People and Administration projects within Financial Services. Ideally including transitions for investment managers, asset servicing providers (e.g. Fund Admin, Custody, TA), superannuation and pension funds administrators, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated proven track record in planning, executing and delivering large complex programs/projects on time and on budget.
  • Ability to network effectively, negotiate well and influence people at all levels within an organisation.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with ambiguity in a fast moving environment.
