About the role
As a talented Commercial Lawyer you will play a key role supporting University stakeholders, working alongside accomplished practitioners within the University's in house legal team. No two days will be the same and diversity will be the central theme, but some of the key tasks this role entails are:
- Drafting and advising on complex commercial contracts and intellectual property, information technology and complex arrangements;
- Providing strategic support to the General Counsel and the Legal Services team in the provision of legal services;
- Providing professional and prompt advice on all legal matters, guidance to Council and the University’s senior executive, decision-making bodies and staff of the University on legal matters concerning the University;
- Provide legal advice, conceptualise, develop and review University policies and procedures.
You could already be in private practice thinking about that “first move in house”, or a Legal Counsel seeking a new challenge.
