Role and Responsibilities  

Reporting through to the Group FC and managing a team 15 (of both onshore and offshore staff), the role encompasses strategic and operational leadership and is process improvement focused.

  • Effectively lead , manage and oversee the team
  • Proactively seeking on going improvements and efficiencies in all activities
  • Optimising existing  systems and processes to achieve strategic goals
  • Building effective working relationships with all stakeholders and provide support as required
  • Reporting duties and other varying tasks to assist the leadership team
  • Team building and mentoring
  • Data analysis/Data maintenance and improvements
  • Project management and roll out of new initiatives
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth operation and processing of supplier invoices in the relevant workflow system
  • Ensure payment runs and all monthly processing is completed within the agreed timeframe
  • Oversee projects and implementations of key initiatives relating to transformation and process improvement
  • Ensure that clear policies and procedures are established , implemented and understood by all stakeholders
  • Ensure accounts activities and reconciliations are completed within a timely manner with a hands on approach as needed
  • Monthly reconciling and clearing internal accounts
  • KPI’s setting and reporting
Candidate Profile
  • You will be a a skilled candidate with an in depth knowledge of best practice in Shared Services in both accounts payable and receivable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
  • Ability to delegate coupled with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage upwards and downwards with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A strong strategic partner to work within an environment that supports their employees.
