Our client is an established multinational organisation looking to expand and solidify their presence in Australia.
The Role:
In this business critical role you will report into the Australian MD and act as a trusted business partner to the local leadership team. You will be responsible for providing commercial and finance expertise to the local Australian business with a focus on financial reporting, business partnering, forecasting, budgeting and FP&A.
Key tasks will include:
- Driving completion of month end reporting process and assisting with preparation of month end reporting packs
- Support the annual financial planning and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure delivery of high quality business planning around revenue, costs and capex, working with various stakeholders across functions and verticals
- Communicate information and insights to drive successful business outcomes by translating management information into actionable plans
- Liaise closely with ELT and SLT members to proactively identify areas of revenue/profit improvement and risk
The successful candidate will have experience working within a mature organisation as a Senior Finance Business Partner. Previous experience within a product based environment (retail, manufacturing, FMCG, import/distribution etc.) will be viewed favorably. You will be commercial and strategic, and will be highly competent in working amongst large data sets to pull together robust and insightful recommendations to drive business performance.
You will be a genuine business partner who is able to build strong relationships across the business. Technically astute, you will have demonstrated success improving management and performance reporting through efficient systems and reporting tools.
