We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with IAM experience to provide architecture, design, and assurance services across a large, complex ICT environment. This role will play a key part in ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions are implemented, ICT risks are effectively managed, and optimal benefits are realised from technology investment.

About the role In this role:
  • Work across multiple domains including business, information, application, technology, and information security.
  • Review enterprise architecture artefacts from external suppliers such as ICT strategies, position papers, and direction statements.
  • Develop and assure solution architecture artefacts including conceptual/logical designs, integration models, and information models.
  • Provide input into project planning and analysis, including technical requirements, procurement considerations, and vendor response evaluations.
  • Ensure technical solutions align with enterprise strategies, roadmaps, principles, and standards.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal SMEs, external partners, and government representatives.
  • Contribute to architecture and assurance activities for Identity and Access Management (IDAM) systems, including current state reviews, interoperability assessments, and architecture pictorials.
  • Support environment configuration advice for development, testing, and pre-production stages.
Key requirements Mandatory
  • Demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or Solution Consultant.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical documentation, business analysis outputs, and complex ICT architecture diagrams.
  • Proficiency in developing architectural artefacts using tools such as PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Capability to analyse data/system attributes to support integration, orchestration, and validation activities.
Highly desirable
  • Experience across both public and private sector ICT projects.
  • Hands-on experience in ICT technical/operations or project delivery.
  • Broad understanding of IAM and cybersecurity concepts (identity stores, authentication/authorisation, Zero Trust).
  • Awareness of technologies including:
    • Microsoft Entra ID, Azure IAM, Active Directory, Azure Access Controls, AWS Identity
    • Microsoft Defender for Identity, Azure Information Protection, Cloud App Security, Intune
    • SAP, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Splunk
    • Scripting languages and automation tools
