About the role

The State Sales Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of the WA Sales Team across the Foodservice Channel, facilitating achievement of Sales growth and goals in line with corporate objectives for the allocated territory. 

Duties
  • Ownership of volume, trade investment and gross profit KPI’s
  • Direct responsibility for key input measures – distribution, joint business planning, safety and coaching calls with team.
  • Manage and direct Sales Representatives to enable them to manage and develop strong relationships with their End users and Route to Market Distributors
  • Implement End user Cycle Activity and Sales Blitz Activity through Sales Representatives and Area Managers.
Skills and Experience
  • Open to Candidates from a Foodservice or Retail/Grocery Background.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to work with / sell to variety of key personnel 
  • Passion for coaching, motivating & training salespeople via demonstrated methods
  • Experience managing a sales team with proven background in driving team high performance
  • Self-starter – motivated to seek action beyond specific position responsibilities.
