The position of Supply & Demand Planner entails overseeing all aspects of supply and demand planning, including forecasting future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and refining forecast models. Working closely with sales and supply chain teams, the Supply & Demand Planner utilizes demand planning software to improve forecast models by integrating business intelligence and data from various sources. The role ensures accurate demand projections and optimal inventory management to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
  • Develop demand forecasts to determine purchasing and production requirements.
  • Communicate a Master Planning Schedule to link sales requirements with operational capability.
  • Understand material and capacity constraints and provide feedback on predicted failures.
  • Optimize inventory while increasing sales and maintaining forecast accuracy.
  • Develop and monitor a feasible planning schedule considering production constraints.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Anticipate demand-related issues and drive corrective actions.
  • Develop inventory strategies and propose solutions to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Participate in the IBP process and lead weekly Supply meetings.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the demand plan and develop contingency plans.
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in demand analyst or supply planning role in FMCG.
  • Proficiency in inventory management practices, statistics, and forecasting methods.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Excel and ERP systems.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Practical understanding of operations in an FMCG business preferred.
