Exciting opportunity to join a NFP organisation in the South-East Melbourne suburbs. This role sits within the central finance function and is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the finance IT systems, as well as assisting with financial and management accounting. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Create reports create reports using Business Intelligence tools.
• To build and maintain a good working relationship with the organisation's Business and IT teams. 
• To project manage any changes to the accounting systems in liaising with the IT staff.
• Create and maintain Dashboard reporting.
• Improve staff skill levels on the use of BI solutions.
• Assisting with review of system configurations, optimisation of financial
software/systems
• Assist the budget process, ensure accurate monitoring of financial performance against the budget, and report on any variances.
• Contribute to the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial results.

The successful candidate will have:
• Tertiary education in accounting or similar
• 3+ years experience in a similar role
• Experience in financial and management accounting
• Demonstrated experience and capability with Power BI.
• Experience within the NFP sector.
