The purpose of this position is to play a key role in supporting the Group's strategic and statutory Tax obligations. Reporting directly to the Group's Head of Tax this role manages the Group's Corporate & International Tax requirements. This role also leads delivery of effective compliance and consulting services (direct and indirect taxes) within the group and manage an array of internal and external stakeholders across various business lines. Furthermore, you will also provide strategic tax advice to the executive (both domestic and Global heads).
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Group's Head of Tax, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Partner with Senior Executive regarding Group structuring
- Review and Preparation of Consolidated Tax Return and Schedules
- Control over company-wide tax effect accounting
- Manage international tax requirements and reporting
- Ensuring integration between ERP systems and company taxation policy
- Manage relationship and relevant reporting to ATO
- Partnering Operational and Commercial heads to integrate tax policies
- Tax advisory & support to wider business and special projects
CA and degree qualified, you will have a background in a large Big 4 / Mid Tier Accounting firm or similar ASX/Multinational business. You will have a desire to work in both the strategic and compliance sides of taxation, and have the ambition to grow your career in a structured and growing organisation. Strong communication skills, a customer service focus, and demonstrated experience partnering with senior decision makers is a must
