The Role
Reporting into the GM of Tax and working in a team of 3, the responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- Oversee tax calculations and returns across multiple jurisdictions including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
- Handle various tax compliance areas such as Income Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, Payroll Tax, Goods and Services Tax, Transfer Pricing, Withholding Tax, ACA and CFC Calculations, Tax Reporting Packs, and Deferred Tax & Tax Effect Accounting.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring timely submission of statements and documents to the GMT.
- Act as a liaison with tax authorities and regulatory bodies, maintaining compliance and managing access to portals while regularly reviewing systems for updates and improvements.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- CA or CPA qualification; Masters of Tax or CTA preferred.
- Big 4 or Top 6 training preferred.
- 6-8 years post-university tax experience.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
