We are looking for a hands-on technical leader with strong Microsoft data platform expertise and a committed mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data discovery by analysing and querying APIs
- Design and develop data models in line with IT governance standards
- Provide technical leadership to data engineers and Power BI developers
- Deliver data and analytics products aligned to user requirements
- Review and assess AI and automation solutions proposed by vendors
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical challenges
- Review business processes to identify issues, risks and opportunities
Required skills and experience:
- Advanced SQL and strong experience with relational databases
- Proven expertise building and optimising data pipelines and architectures
- Strong Kimball data modelling, particularly within Microsoft and Power BI environments
- Solid experience with Power BI and analytics development
- Strong analytical capability across structured and unstructured data
- Experience working in cross-functional, Agile delivery teams
- Hands-on experience with Azure services including Databricks, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Functions, Data Lake, Storage, Azure Search and Purview
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps and JIRA
- Strong understanding of APIs and tools such as Postman
