We’re looking for a skilled and analytical Project Accountant to support our client's finance team on a 4-week temporary contract. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project environment and can quickly deliver valuable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budget Preparation:
Develop and maintain detailed project-based and long-term financial budgets to support strategic planning and operational needs. - Financial Analysis & Industry Benchmarking:
Conduct in-depth financial analyses and compare performance against industry benchmarks to uncover trends and insights that drive better decision-making. - Scenario Planning & Consolidation:
Build and evaluate multiple financial scenarios to support project planning and risk management. Consolidate financial data across multiple projects to provide a comprehensive financial picture. - Solver & Power BI Implementation:
Utilize Excel Solver for optimisation tasks and leverage Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports that enhance financial visibility and transparency.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling and budgeting within multi-project environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Solver and complex formulas.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
