About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and relationship‑driven Territory Sales Manager to take ownership of a well‑established region, focusing exclusively on supporting and growing a strong distributor network within the walls and ceilings industry.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working autonomously, and partnering closely with trade distributors, plasterboard suppliers, and store networks. You will be responsible for strengthening existing distributor relationships, driving new account activity, and providing product knowledge, training, and sales support across a comprehensive range of wall and ceiling system solutions.

Duties
  • Manage and grow a diverse network of distributors across your allocated territory, ensuring revenue and GP targets are achieved.
  • Conduct strategic, pre‑planned face‑to‑face visits with individual distributor stores, including national account branches.
  • Actively secure new distributor accounts while deepening engagement with existing partners.
  • Deliver product training, GTM sessions, and in‑store education to increase product understanding and drive sell‑through.
  • Provide regular CRM updates, follow‑up communications, visit notes, and accurate sales reporting.
  • Support distributors with marketing collateral, promotional activity, and sales tools to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Build market intelligence by monitoring competitor pricing, industry trends, and new product opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions and industry events as required.
  • Promote the organisation’s key programs and value propositions, ensuring distributor partners clearly understand the benefits.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in Territory Management, Sales, or Account Management, ideally supporting trade distributors or selling into building and construction supply networks.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building capability, with confidence engaging store teams, trade professionals, and decision‑makers.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills, with comfort managing a large, territory‑based schedule.
  • Ability to understand product requirements, system solutions, and customer needs within wall and ceiling applications.
  • Skilled in negotiation, problem‑solving, and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Strong CRM discipline and proficiency with sales software and MS Office.
  • Experience working with trade distributors, building products, construction materials, tools, or hardware suppliers will be highly regarded.
