As the Trade Spend Analyst, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Liaise with internal sales teams on the accuracy of trade spend. projections and solve any discrepancies autonomously when the claims are received.
- Ensuring accruals reflect customer agreements/contracts.
- Tracking business performance against established targets.
- Strong understanding of the different types trade spend categories (rebate, COOP, scan deals and reptos).
- Application to customer sales and terms of trade
- Process claims and allocate to the customer receivable balance for net settle arrangement and/or process claims for timely payment depending on customer terms.
- For trade spend incurred and supporting documentation has not been received, calculate trade spend accrual & contractual rebates on a year-to-date basis over month end.
- Ownership of the trade spend accrual/provision balance sheet reconciliation monthly.
To be successful in your application, you will have a proven track record of Trade Spend experience in FMCG/ Retail environment. You will have the ability to work in a high performing team with strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
