About the Role
Reporting to the Transactions Team Leader, this role delivers essential accounting and administrative support. You’ll be trusted to process payments, maintain accurate financial data, manage internal and external enquiries, and assist with key reporting and audit activities. Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
  • Take ownership of the shared AP inbox and keep workflows moving
  • Process supplier invoices, staff reimbursements and corporate card expenses with accuracy
  • Manage weekly EFT, BPAY and cheque payments and refunds
  • Validate and post journals in the accounting system
  • Chase outstanding invoices and approvals to keep processes on track
  • Respond promptly to AP enquiries from staff, vendors and stakeholders
  • Build strong, positive working relationships with suppliers and internal teams
Accounts Receivable
  • Raise tax invoices on time and in line with requirements
  • Conduct monthly debtor follow-ups to support cashflow
  • Create and maintain accurate customer records
General Accounting & Administration
  • Assist with audit queries and support during year-end and special audits
  • Keep all administrative tasks up to date — filing, record keeping, forms, correspondence
  • Collect and input data for internal and external reporting
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports as required
  • Support the broader finance team with additional duties as needed
  • Participate in mandatory training and ongoing development
