Sharp & Carter has been exclusively engaged to source a high-calibre and technically strong Treasury Analyst for a leading manufacturing business. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role will require you to be a key member of the finance function whilst taking responsibility of the following tasks.
- Preparation of weekly cashflow reconciliations/forecasts at group & divisional level – proactive cash management
- Monthly cashflow recs (actual vs forecast) for Senior Management papers/presentations
- Rolling 12 months cashflow forecast
- Daily cash balances updates
- Liaising with Banks on FX deals – extensions/pre-deliveries
- Monthly FX forecasting update
- Preparation (with FP&A Manager) of company treasury policy
- Liaising with AP on coordinating payments based on cashflow forecast
- Advise Senior Management on cash requirements (ie facility drawdown)
- Prepare documentation for facilities drawdown
- Maintaining list of borrowings/repayments schedule
- Support FP&A Team on preparations of forecasts/budgets
- Business partnering with internal stakeholders to gather key information for cashflow and forecasts/budgets
- Ad hoc reports/analysis
- Ability to simplify processes/ reports – ie data requirements for reporting
- Ability to improve processes
To be successful in this role you will have excellent technical skills and have Treasury experience from fast paced and complex commercial organisation. Your interpersonal and communication skills will need to be first class, allowing you to gain the confidence of key internal and external stakeholders, and develop strong professional relationships with those both above and below you.
