Are you an experienced Team Leader who thrives in a dynamic, high-volume environment? This role oversees a critical Treasury Operations team managing EFTPOS, POS, gift cards, PayPal, SecurePay and settlement processes across a complex, integrated retail business. No two days are the same — you’ll need agility, strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to lead a team through daily challenges.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you’ll guide three Treasury Operations & AR Officers, ensure tight banking controls, resolve discrepancies, and partner widely across stores, online, finance, fraud and customer service.

- Investigate unmatched transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Review GL reconciliations and settlement accounts
- Ensure all month-end settlement, reconciliation and P&L postings meet deadlines
- Manage portal access for tender types and support stores with banking queries
- Partner across Fraud, Online, Stores, Finance and Customer Service
- Support internal/external audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to integration projects, including new brand onboarding
- Proven Team Leader experience (non-negotiable)
- Background in Treasury Operations, Banking Operations or high-volume reconciliation
- Experience in a complex, integrated business (ideally retail, FMCG or multi-channel)
- Highly agile — comfortable shifting priorities and adapting quickly
- Strong analytical, reconciliation and issue-resolution skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and partner across many teams
- ERP exposure (NetSuite or similar)
- A key leadership role within a well-recognised national retailer
