They are currently seeking a passionate Trust & Foundations Specialist to join their organisation. This position will be instrumental in securing vital funding from trusts, foundations, and institutional donors to support our mission and programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in relationship building, grant writing, and strategic fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research to identify prospective trust, foundation, and institutional donors whose funding priorities align with our organization's mission and objectives.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy tailored to engage and solicit support from potential funders.
• Write compelling grant proposals, applications, and reports that effectively communicate our organization's impact, goals, and funding needs.
• Collaborate closely with program staff to gather relevant data, stories, and evidence to support grant proposals and reports.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with funders, grant submissions, and funding outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze trends in trust and foundation funding to identify new opportunities and adapt fundraising strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Communications, or equivalent work experience working in a Trusts, Foundations or Fundraising role.
• Proven track record of successfully securing funding from trusts, foundations, and institutional donors, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and tailored proposals that resonate with funders' priorities.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify funding opportunities and assess their suitability for our organization.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders.
