About the role & client An exciting role with a leading pharmaceuticals organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team. This Management Accountant position will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ accounting activities on a national scale. Initially this will be a long-term 12 month fixed-term contract assignment, however there is the opportunity for extension and/or permanency. The responsibilities Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial expertise to the business with a focus on strategic planning, analysis and business partnering. More specifically, your role will include: Develop and maintain both rolling and fixed-term budgets, alongside preparing monthly business performance reports. Drive enhancements within the TM1 system and support evolving reporting requirements. Review and validate current data feeds while testing and implementing future integrations. Create and deliver tailored reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights for internal stakeholders, leveraging TM1 and related tools. Refine and align hierarchies, attributes, and roll-ups to ensure consistency and efficiency within TM1. Partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements and contribute to the next phase of TM1 development initiatives. The successful applicant will have: Strong TM1 skills Experience working in complex organisations Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline. CA, CPA or CFA is essential for this role Significant hands-on management accounting experience, including integrated planning, budgeting, and management reporting.
