About the role An exciting immediate start role with a industry-leading Medical Devices organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Senior Financial Accountants' position will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial & corporate accounting activities on a national scale. Initially this will be a 6 month fixed-term contract assignment, however there is the genuine view for this role to be then extended and/or made permanent. The responsibilitiesReporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to); Timely and accurate completion of month end close process and monthly deadlines around flash (Financial) reports and finance operation reports Ensuring that all allocated General Ledger reconciliations are accurate and are completed in a timely manner Manage the balance sheet of the organisation, ensuring that all reconciliations are accurate and are completed in a timely manner Ensure compliance with financial reporting, tax, accounting standards and all other related legislation Assist with the preparation of commentary of the monthly balance sheet and cash flow information. Action all items allocated to this role in relation to ongoing projects within the organisation or within Finance Ad-hoc projects as and when required Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency The successful applicant will have Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Ideally, you will have had hands-on Microsoft Dynamics365 experience, a strong attention to detail, have worked in a complex & dynamic organisation previously and be able to commence a new role relatively immediately.
