This is a broad and influential position partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to provide critical financial insights, enhance business performance, and ensure sound commercial decision-making. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. About the Role Reporting directly to the CFO ANZ and working closely with the executive team and business unit leaders, the Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving financial performance across a regional portfolio. You will act as the financial lead and trusted advisor to sales, service, and operations, ensuring strategic alignment between financial targets and operational outcomes. This is a highly visible role that blends commercial finance, business partnering, and strategic support with hands-on financial analysis and planning. You’ll also play a key role in implementing and managing reporting processes, ensuring compliance, and identifying risks and opportunities for performance improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for the region Deliver monthly management reporting with variance analysis, commentary, and actionable insights Provide commercial analysis to support pricing decisions, contract negotiations, and tenders Identify operational and financial risks, provide strategic guidance, and recommend corrective actions Support business planning and performance tracking across multiple departments Develop and enhance financial reporting tools and dashboards for key stakeholders Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure efficiency and accuracy Partner closely with Sales and Operational Managers to support financial decision-making Provide guidance on cash flow, working capital, sales incentive plans, and credit resolution Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and business excellence across the finance function Skills and Experience Required To be successful in this role, you will be a commercially astute finance professional with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation and thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business CPA or CA qualified (or near completion) Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial finance Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management Strong business partnering background with the ability to engage operational leaders and drive results Sound understanding of P&L management, pricing, tender analysis, and business case development High level of analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience within a large, complex, or multinational environment will be highly regarded.
