The Position & The Organisation In this newly created role, you will be working alongside the People & Culture Manager and reporting to the General Manager of People & Culture, to provide advice and support to the organisation and the senior leadership team. This role will be instrumental in partnering with leaders across your own dedicated portfolio of the business, you will be the point of contact for leaders and support them with everything relating to people. You will work with a diverse team who align with the company’s values and are passionate and empowered to perform at pace and achieve big things. To be successful in this role you will have proven experience providing exception industrial and employment relations advice and support. Key Responsibilities Manage industrial and employment relation matters for your dedicated portfolio; Provide generalist advice, supporting employee lifecycle activity and programs, through being the first point of contact for team members and leaders in your client group; Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic human resources plans and policies that support the organisation’s mission, vision and guiding principles; Provide coaching and advice to leaders on policy matters related to workforce management including recruitment, establishment, employee performance, teamwork, organisational structure, industrial matters, and resolution of grievances, disciplines and complaints; Researching and applying best practice, relevant legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines. Support, coordinate, and initiate employee engagement and culture initiatives projects, and events. Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications in human resources, management or related business discipline; Demonstrated experience as a HR Advisor or HR Business Partner in a multi-site business, with exposure to most facets of the employment life cycle; Proven knowledge of IR/ER including award interpretation, employment legislation, and how to manage cases and mentoring leaders to manage people, and leading formal and informal grievances and performance management matters.
