Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team in a permanent role based in Stirling, WA. This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients within a supportive, modern, and systemised practice. About the Role This is a true end‑to‑end bookkeeping role where you will take ownership of your own client portfolio. You’ll work across a variety of industries, ensuring financial records are accurate, compliant, and meaningful. The role includes a blend of remote work and occasional client visits, making it ideal for someone who enjoys independence, variety, and building strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Compliance Manage full‑function bookkeeping for multiple clients Accounts payable and receivable processing Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reviews BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement Identify and resolve discrepancies or unusual transactions Payroll End‑to‑end payroll processing Award interpretation and compliance Employee onboarding and maintenance Superannuation, payroll tax, and STP compliance Conducting payroll reviews Client Management Act as the primary contact for your client portfolio Respond to queries and explain financial information clearly Prepare and present management reports Attend client offices when required Process Improvement & Technology Identify opportunities to streamline workflows Implement or optimise cloud‑based apps and add‑ons Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Minimum 3 years’ bookkeeping experience, ideally in a multi‑client environment Certificate III or IV in Bookkeeping (required) Strong payroll knowledge, including awards and compliance Advanced proficiency in Xero and MYOB Experience with cloud‑based apps and integrations Excellent communication and organisational skills High attention to detail and a proactive mindset Ability to work independently and manage your own workload A valid driver’s licence and car for occasional client visits Full Australian work rights (overseas applicants will not be considered) Benefits Permanent role based in Stirling, WA Flexible, remote‑friendly working arrangements Supportive and collaborative team culture Ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development Exposure to diverse clients and industries Clear career progression pathways Modern cloud‑based systems and structured workflows Competitive salary package Autonomy and trust to manage your own portfolio How to Apply If you’re an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a long‑term, flexible role with a highly reputable practice, we’d love to hear from you.
