About the roleThis autonomous role entails looking after a variety of industrial and A&D customers across a well-established territory encompassing all of QLD. Your typical customers will include the likes furniture manufacturers, OEM, joiners, cabinet makers etc, as well as architects & designers. Reporting into the National Manager, your ultimate responsibility in the role is to continue to increase revenue across your portfolio of customers.Duties Manage & grow your portfolio of accounts across QLD Develop market across furniture, kitchen, flooring, OEM markets Specification management with architects & designers, including presentations and project follow through Day to day management of key stakeholders, spending the majority of your time on the road in front of customers Identifying opportunities for new customers Utilising the CRM to maximise sales efficiency Discovering new opportunities to assist in the overall revenue growth of your territory Skills and Experience Sales experience in the building products market Experience in, or exposure to, the timber market highly regarded Experience in A&D specification Understanding of how to plan & manage a large portfolio of accounts effectively Experience selling into kitchen, furniture, flooring manufacturers etc would also be beneficial Passion for customer-facing sales & delivering solutions to customers Benefits Privately owned business with great legacy Truly autonomous role looking after all of QLD Great culture with continued growth aspirations in place About the companyThis impressive business has been in operation over 70 years and has established itself a great reputation as a leading business in the building products market across Australia.
