The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and delivering high-quality, audit-ready reporting across the William Adams Group. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, this role suits a technically strong accountant who thrives in a complex, multi-entity environment and enjoys combining hands-on delivery with leadership and continuous improvement. You will be a trusted advisor within the finance team, supporting senior decision-making while mentoring junior accountants and strengthening internal controls. Key Responsibilities Maintain general ledger integrity and deliver month-end and year-end financial reporting across multiple entities. Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory and internal reporting requirements, including IFRS 16. Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG and FBT reporting and support provision and subsidiary financial statements. Coordinate and support external audits across Australia, Singapore and Vietnam, acting as a key liaison with auditors and group stakeholders. Provide accurate, timely financial insights to support management reporting and decision-making. Mentor and support direct reports and act as delegate for the Financial Reporting Manager when required. Contribute to budgeting, strengthen internal controls and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support environmental and sustainability reporting requirements. About You You are a technically confident, detail-focused accounting professional with strong judgement and a continuous improvement mindset. You bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with CA or CPA qualification. 5+ years’ experience in a commercial or chartered environment (Big 4 highly regarded). Strong technical accounting capability, including IFRS and multi-entity reporting. Proven experience delivering month-end, year-end and audit processes. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems. The ability to mentor others and step into a senior leadership role. Experience with TM1, SQL or financial modelling will be well regarded.
