Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts for multiple retail sites. Ensure accurate general ledger maintenance and reconciliations of key accounts. Coordinate and prepare statutory accounts in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor inventory accounting, including stock valuations, write-offs, and reconciliations. Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights on store performance, cost trends, and profitability. Identify and drive improvements in accounting and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Partner with store managers, commercial teams, and senior management to provide financial insights for operational decisions. Support compliance with GST, PAYG, FBT and Income Tax Returns Mentor and provide guidance to junior finance staff or accountants. Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance function. What You’ll Bring: CA/CPA qualified with a strong foundation in financial accounting Experience gained in a large private or mid-sized corporate environment Proven technical skills, attention to detail, and commercial acumen A proactive communicator who enjoys driving improvement and efficiency This role suits a technically strong Senior Financial Accountant ready to step into a broader role within a respected and growing national business.
