Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, this role suits a technically strong accountant who thrives in a complex, multi-entity environment and enjoys combining hands-on delivery with leadership and continuous improvement. You will be a trusted advisor within the finance team, supporting senior decision-making while mentoring junior accountants and strengthening internal controls.    Key Responsibilities Maintain general ledger integrity and deliver month-end and year-end financial reporting across multiple entities. Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory and internal reporting requirements, including IFRS 16. Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG and FBT reporting and support provision and subsidiary financial statements. Coordinate and support external audits across Australia, Singapore and Vietnam, acting as a key liaison with auditors and group stakeholders. Provide accurate, timely financial insights to support management reporting and decision-making. Mentor and support direct reports and act as delegate for the Financial Reporting Manager when required. Contribute to budgeting, strengthen internal controls and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support environmental and sustainability reporting requirements.    About You You are a technically confident, detail-focused accounting professional with strong judgement and a continuous improvement mindset. You bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with CA or CPA qualification. 5+ years’ experience in a commercial or chartered environment (Big 4 highly regarded). Strong technical accounting capability, including IFRS and multi-entity reporting. Proven experience delivering month-end, year-end and audit processes. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems. The ability to mentor others and step into a senior leadership role. The organisation is growing quickly and sits within a market with uncapped growth potential, they have diversified product offerings and a history of stability and balance sheet strength.  With solid long-term contracts in place and a market-leading position, it is well poised for continuing profitability and steady long-term growth.The Role This role is a temp-to-perm opportunity, starting ASAP and reporting to the GM of Finance. You will be responsible for providing timely and relevant financial analysis for key decision-making, including gross margin forecasting and variance analysis, product scenario modelling, and financial support to the commercial and supply chain divisions.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Sales and Operational Planning Collaborate with the Planning Manager as the Finance lead in the Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) process, providing financial input, analysis, and ‘what if’ scenarios for product mix and planning. Offer financial and commercial insights to support decision-making within the SOP process. Budgeting and Forecasting Manage monthly Gross Margin Model finalization, ensuring accuracy of sales volume, pricing, freight rates, and COGS. Oversee commercial and supply chain inputs for the Annual Budget, including budget assumptions, GM model, and supply chain costing analysis at a profit segment level. Reporting and Analysis Assist with monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and inventory reporting for the Finance Manager. Provide monthly reports and analysis for the Executive and Board, monitoring key performance indicators (KPI) like revenue and gross margin trends.
