We are seeking a skilled Support Officer to join a dedicated team within a high-performing government division committed to service delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence, briefing notes, reports, and track important issues.
- Maintain asset registers and contribute to annual stocktakes.
- Manage purchasing processes including raising orders, invoice payments, and budget tracking in line with procurement policies.
- Assist with HR-related tasks such as staffing profiles, recruitment, and responding to staff queries.
- Maintain training records and assist with leave audits and staff onboarding.
- Take minutes and document actions for key meetings.
- Respond to general inquiries and maintain professional relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
You are a proactive and professional administrator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You are known for your organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Ideal Attributes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in financial administration and purchasing.
- Familiarity with HR systems and processes is advantageous.
