Our client is looking for an energetic accounts assistant who has strong accounting knowledge and at least 3 years experience within a similar role. This role would be best suited to someone who is hard-working, has good attention to detail, is reliable and has excellent communication skills. You will be assisting the accounting team on a daily basis. The company is looking for someone who is ideally available to start on short notice.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Processing invoices
- Processing remittances
- Issuing invoices
- Credit card and statement reconciliations
- GL reconciliations
- As time goes on, assisting with month-end
- Other accounting and reporting tasks
- At least 3 years experience within the accounting field
- Be enthusiastic and keen to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Be able to work well within a team
