The Role
Our client is actively seeking an experienced accountant who has worked within the professional services industry, to join their finance team on a part-time basis.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Support in crafting budgets and forecasts.
- Execute various accounting duties, including journal entries, accruals, and the closure of month-end and year-end activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax filings and compliance obligations.
- Aid in generating financial statements, encompassing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to guarantee precision and comprehensiveness of financial information.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to verify the precise recording of financial transactions.
You will have experience within a complex commercial organisation with exposure to compliance reporting and engaging stakeholders across the organisation. Your interpersonal and communication skills are first class, allowing you to develop strong professional relationships.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have their CA or CPA qualification
- Possess minimum 4 years in a similar role in the professional services industry
- Have exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Be a motivated and critical thinker to contribute to process improvements.
