They’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their South-East Melbourne team on a temporary-permanent basis.
The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end of Accounts Payable.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Process high volumes of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies
- Schedule pay runs based on standard company payment terms
- Update and maintain vendor database promptly
- Bank reconciliations
- Month-end processes by providing documentation for month-end journals
- Work order creation in SAP
Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Qualifications in finance or related field
- Solid understanding of basic accounting basic accounting and accounts payable principles
- Excellent computer literacy
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with multiple projects
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
