They are now seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team in the CBD on a full-time basis for a 12-month maternity leave cover.
  
Position Description
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working as part of a close-knit team, your responsibilities will include:
  • End-to-end Accounts Payable for a high-volume portfolio (circa 200 invoices per day) across multiple entities
  • Processing invoices and conducting statement reconciliations
  • Managing payment runs and settlements for both local and international vendors
  • Overseeing the AP mailbox and handling supplier queries
  • Supporting the broader finance team with month-end tasks
  • Assisting with FX-related payments and queries
  • Driving process improvements and assisting with change initiatives
  
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will bring proven Accounts Payable experience along with:
  • Proven Accounts Payable experience of 3+ years within a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong
  • Experience using SAP will be highly regarded
  • Experience with international vendors and FX will be highly regarded
  • Strong numeracy and reconciliation skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence working both autonomously and collaboratively in a small team
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A personable, down-to-earth approach with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Experience with international vendors and FX will be highly regarded
