About the Client:

Committed to ongoing improvement and growth, our client is seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their supportive finance team on a permanent basis, offering the opportunity to be part of an exciting transformational journey. The Role & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the AP Manager and working within a supportive team environment to complete end to end accounts payable duties, you will be responsible for:
- Processing a large volume of supplier invoices with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Performing three‑way matching by reconciling invoices against purchase orders and goods received notes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Completing various reconciliations
- Managing timely local and international supplier payments through weekly and monthly payment runs
- Proactively identifying and resolving invoice discrepancies and payment issues
- Responding to accounts payable enquiries in a timely, professional, and customer focused manner
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholder
- Completing relevant reporting duties
- Supporting the broader finance team with ad hoc duties, particularly during month‑end close
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring 3–5 years’ experience in a similar high‑volume Accounts Payable position, along with the following attributes:
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent time management and organisational skills
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to hit the ground running
- Prior demonstrated experience with three-way matching of invoices & purchase orders in a retail environment is highly advantageous
- A personable and collaborative approach, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Prior experience working with SAP or a similar large ERP system is essential
