An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable to join their team based in CBD fringe, in a fixed term contract with a view to permanency.  


Position Description

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader and working within a small team, you will be responsible for full-function Accounts Receivable which includes the following:
  • Manage a debtors ledger of national accounts
  • Account reconciliation  
  • Follow up on outstanding debt 
  • Providing high level of customer support to varying internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle and assess credit applications
  • Allocation and receipting of payments 
  • Review and set up new accounts and customers, including the completion of credit check
  • Collaboratively participate in strategic planning and continued process improvement
  • Reporting duties and ad hoc tasks as required

Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role, as well as the following attributes:
  • High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
  • High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a high volume and fast paced environment
  • Prior experience using SAP
